First of all I would like to say sorry for my absence in the blog. I recently hurt my back pretty bad in a accident and have been a little bit under the weather. However things are slowly starting to come back together.
I love cornbread ( I mean come one who doesn’t ) ??
And If you have not tried sweet cornbread you are truly missing out folks. 🙂
This cornbread is so delicious with some chili or soup.
Perfect served with just butter, no honey needed already sweet.
- 1 box Jiffy yellow cake mix (9 oz)
- 1 box Jiffy cornbread mix (8.5 oz)
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- Combine all ingredients until well mixed. Do not over mix, a few lumps are fine.
- Pour into a greased 8″ x 8″ pan and bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
